You may think it is an anachronism for a sound device to support
both CD and Cassette, plus USB. It's not. My partner and I have
been upgrading our sound system. I bought a Denon receiver,
a Denon turntable and a Denon 5-CD player. What was missing was
a tape cassette player. Yes we have a library of vinyl and
cassette music. Plus we have MP3's stored on our computers.
The TEAC will play back all of our collections. Copy your MP3's
to a USB flash drive, plug it in, press play and behold.
The power of multi-functional technology.
You can record to both tape and usb. Usb is only at 128Kbps.
But usb plays back anything up to 320Kbps. It's pretty cool.
There has been some confusion in the press about the AD-800.
It does not record to CD. It does record to usb and tape.
But that's not it's main purpose. Play back both your old
and your new.
Keep it coming TEAC...
