I got this as a replacement for my ageing Marantz CD67se, which I use as a transport and till works perfectly. I expected an improvement in performance and sound, but one by this great a margin. This machine performs absolutely brilliantly. Not only that, it also scales tremendously well - give it high end gear and it produces high end sound. Superb sound, great build quality and amazing value. Can't ask for more
