Furman AC-215 A Compact Power Conditioner
[AC-215A]

Bought as a preventative measure to protect some delicate electronics from our country power supply that has fried two routers and damaged some music devices. It was recommended by an colleague. I have no idea if it will work. We had a recent power outage. Everything survived.
Got rid of the intermittent static I was experiencing through my headphone setup. I’m very happy with this product.
A quick primer on surge protection: the most common kind of surge protectors use a MOV (metal oxide varistor) whose purpose is to be destroyed when hit with a catastrophic surge like a lightning strike, preventing the surge from entering the attached equipment. However, MOVs are weakened over time by smaller everyday surges, until they ultimately become ineffective and lose their protective ability. Usually there is no indication to the user that the MOV has been worn out. Hence the common advice is to replace your surge protectors at least every 10 years.
A better kind of surge protector incorporates SMP technology (Series Multistage Protection) which safely absorbs non-catastrophic surges indefinitely, preventing the MOV from being weakened over time, and preserving its protective ability.
I don't want to treat my surge protectors like a disposable good, so I searched for the most affordable SMP-type surge protection I could find, and the Furman AC-215A was it. Two outlets. Reasonably compact. Not unusually heavy. Promises clean power with Advanced Linear Filtering, and safety with the Extreme Voltage Shutdown feature. It's tough to review power products because you don't really know if they are doing what they promise until and if they don't. But I'm happy with mine, which is now protecting my home office setup consisting of multiple PCs and monitors.
