iFi Audio iEMatch4.4 Balanced 4.4mm Headphone and IEM Optimizer

The iFi Audio iEMatch4.4 is designed to optimize the performance of sensitive headphones and in-ear monitors when connected to devices with a 4.4mm balanced output. Installed between the source and headphones or IEMs, it provides two selectable sensitivity settings to reduce background hiss while allowing more useful control over listening volume.

High sensitivity mode reduces gain by 12dB, while Ultra sensitivity mode provides a 24dB reduction for particularly sensitive IEMs. iFi specifies 12dB or 24dB noise reduction with no frequency loss, helping maintain dynamic range while providing a comfortable listening level.

The iEMatch4.4 uses iFi's custom minZ™ helix cable construction, designed to minimize capacitance and inductance while providing intrinsic shielding against RFI and EMI noise. Internally, it uses 6N silver/copper matrix wiring, a gold-plated printed circuit board and audiophile components including MELF resistors.
