This page explains how orders are prepared, packaged, and shipped from our warehouse to your door. Our approach focuses on product protection, responsible packaging, and minimizing unnecessary handling.
General Shipping Approach
We’ve been shipping consumer electronics across Canada since 2002. Every order is reviewed before shipment to ensure it is packaged appropriately based on product size, weight, and fragility.
Shipping methods and carriers vary depending on the item and destination. Smaller items may ship via standard parcel networks, while larger or more fragile products are handled using specialized freight services.
Packaging & Materials
Products arrive to us from manufacturers in a wide range of packaging conditions. Some items come factory sealed or heat-wrapped, while others may arrive with minimal external protection. This can vary by manufacturer, product type, production run, or shipping method used to deliver the item to us.
If a product is ready to ship as-is or can be safely secured in a protective courier mailer, it may ship that way. In most cases, however, we package products inside an additional outer shipping box to protect them during transit.
Our shipping boxes are purchased in bulk from commercial box suppliers. Many are reclaimed from recycling facilities and may show prior markings, labels, or mixed materials. These boxes are used strictly to protect the product inside and have no impact on the condition of the item itself.
Retail product boxes are designed primarily for shelf display and initial distribution, not always for repeated carrier handling. Minor scuffs, label placement, or box variations can occur during manufacturer transport or warehouse handling and do not affect the product inside.
Reusing boxes helps reduce waste and keeps shipping costs lower without compromising protection.
How Televisions Are Shipped
All televisions over 50 inches are shipped in their original manufacturer packaging and are palletized and securely wrapped before leaving our facility. This ensures the television remains upright during transit and is not stacked or transported on its side.
Televisions are shipped using fully insured, light-truck-load carriers rather than standard parcel sorting networks. This reduces handling and avoids automated sorting systems that are not suitable for large displays.
Open-Box & Special Condition Items
Open-box items are clearly marked as such on the product page and during checkout. These items are inspected prior to shipment and packaged appropriately based on their condition and original packaging availability.
Open-box products may ship in original packaging or in alternative protective packaging, depending on condition. Any differences are cosmetic only and do not affect product performance or warranty coverage as stated on the product listing.
Inspection & Reporting
Please inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival for any visible or concealed damage. If damage is discovered, contact us within 48 hours so we can initiate a carrier claim and assist with resolution.
Your Order Dashboard includes tools for reporting shipping issues and uploading photos. Once reported, we’ll work quickly to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or next steps where applicable.
