Easily worth every penny. Its a no-frills Vitamix that doesn't 'cut' any corners. It 'blends' the same styling and power, but since it's made overseas, the price is 'chopped' in half. We blend frozen deserts with no problem, smoothies, juices and hot ingredients. Durable housing and the jar is actually really easy to clean (blend with soapy water). My only complaint is superficial so I am still going five stars. The little plastic holders located under the machine for holding the power cord, they're a little flimsy.

I have two Vitamix in my restaurant plus a Blendtec on the front counter, so I know a thing or two about blenders. I bought this blender for the home because of the price tag, but am more than impressed! We use it daily in our home about four times. It blends frozen bananas with ice no problem and purees leafy greens like a pro machine. I'd give it 5/5 for its Vitamix-ish construction and top points for the price. Most used thing we have in the kitchen.
