Great speaker stands. Comes with 2 different foam-covered plate sizes for various speaker sizes. They also have a useful cable management system to keep your setup tidy. They are premium speaker stands despite their very affordable cost.

These stands are fantastic. I've owned a modest number over the years (maybe 3 other sets?), but they've all been particle board, of varying quality. Mostly bad. These are solid metal, painted, heavy, and sturdy as hell! The base isn't as wide as you might think it needs to be, but it has got enough heft that these things stand strong! I'm using them on carpet with the spikes and it would take a decent amount of force to push these over. Don't get me wrong, you could do it. But these are so much better than anything I've had before. You get a choice of top plates, and both have a thin layer of foam to help with vibration. The base has foam on the bottom as well, but it's a moot point for me personally as I use the spikes on the carpet. Oh, and the design for hiding your wires is fantastic. Very well thought out.

I have the ones in black, but I also own the 6" desk stands in white. Both are of equally excellent quality. I got these when they went on sale and I'd say they were definitely worth the price! Highly recommend these for your bookshelf speakers! Sturdy, attractive, and very functional. Would recommend in either colour.

I spent a lot of time trying to choose the best speakers stands under $200 and I am glad I chose these. Excellent quality, hefty and easy to assemble.
I'm using these with KEF q150s so they should work for most bookshelf speakers. I like that there are two top plate sizes and both are grippy so the speakers dont move over time. The overall build quality is great: they are straight, do not wobble and look good. The internal wire routing is a huge plus. Note that they arent black, more of a very dark grey/charcoal. Highly reccomend these.

Didn’t See That Coming!

My curiosity was piqued just carrying the package down the hall. Wow, there’s certainly some heft to these stands. That was my first impression.

Cracked open the extremely well packed container to find everything fit like a glove. No bubble wrap. No parts taped in place.

As I laid out individual pieces on the living room carpet, I couldn’t help but be impressed by such thought and care put into the packaging of unassembled speaker stands.

Then I unboxed the weighted inner base plates. These powder-coated puppies are 3/8” / 1cm thick, steel plates! Just these hidden plates alone are over 2kg heavier than each of my Bose 201/301 speaker stands, when assembled!! Impressive indeed.

But what really floored me about this atypical unboxing experience was the hardware packaging. Usually I go grab an extractable knife to slit open the heavy duty plastic bag. Nope, not with Kanto. Every single piece of hardware in the cardboard box has its own labelled spot. None are homeless!

I’m so impressed with these stands that I plan to order Kanto’s 26 inch stands as well.
