The size of this speaker doesn’t justify its capabilities. It’s so loud that u won’t even need the subwoofers when u just want to enjoy a subtle bass. I have paired these speakers with Klipsch two 12inch subwoofers and it’s phenomenal.

Awesome speakers. They play so loud that it hurts, if that's what you want. They also do a great job filling the room at low volume levels with clear sound. I'll be buying a sub to go with them, although not absolutely necessary with the dual 8" woofers.
