I purchased these stands for my new home theatre rear surround speakers. The Klipsch RS42 surround speakers I have are black and built in a wedge shape which match the design of these stands perfect. All I needed to do was purchase some cheap little "L" brackets from the hardware store and fasten the speakers to the stands by drilling 2 small holes in the top plate. The speakers could have just sat on the top plate but I wanted a more secure setup. These were easy to assemble and arrived within 2 days of me placing the order. For the price you can't go wrong. I see now when writing this review they are on sale for $10 off. Can't beat that. Very happy.
