Upgraded to this from a 15 year old Paradigm PDR 10 after that sub wore out. I had not heard these levels of bass in my home before. This thing is a beast. I used to think I had sufficient bass in my HT until I heard one of these at a friend's place and then something felt lacking at my own setup, so I got one and felt complete. Tbh, if you're coming from a smaller or lower powered sub and are not ready to upgrade don't even test one of these out because it will probably drive you nuts once you know what this sub can do like it did for me. Anyway, loving this sub and now and wondering when I will replace my second sub with another one of these. I'm currently running a dual sub setup with one of these and a Paradigm cinema sub, even though the Paradigm sub is much lower powered they sound beautiful together (ran a room correction with Anthem Room Correction on my MRX1120) with the SVS delivering all of the heavy duty work.
