SVS 13-Ultra Amplifier Upgrade Kit

I purchased my SVS PB13-Ultra quite a long time ago (2008?) from Electronics For Less. It’s been an absolute beast and has performed flawlessly up until June of 2022 when it’s amplifier failed (BASH 750). After confirming the amplifier was not worth repairing, SVS tech support recommended this upgrade kit. Within a couple days of my order was delivered and I installed it into my PB13. Installation was very easy with the only hiccup being the speaker terminal adapter plug that comes with the kit……it did not fit the existing connectors that the +/- wires my sub was fitted with. Was a simple fix as I simply filed down the terminals of the connectors on the adapter wiring and it was good to go. One could simply crimp on new connectors as well if they run into this problem. As far as I know this circumstance is unique to the older subs fitted with BASH amps, the later 13-Ultra series of subs with the STA-1000D would not have this issue.

Happy to say my PB13-Ultra is back up and running and sounding better than ever. I also really appreciate the simplicity and convenience of the SVS app to control the sub, notably the very convenient volume control which is very handy with the amount of variance in LFE levels that one can and will incur with the sound mixes on movies/music.

Amazing product,I used this Amp for a DIY project and it's simply wow ! Tons of power ! controlling the amplifier with a phone is next level also. Kudos !!

Amazing product ! Received item very quickly and was very well packed. This Amp has lots of power and controlling it with a phone is simply awesome.... using this Amp to drive a peerless stw-350 15" subwoofer driver wich is a beast and works perfectly.... might get some second one..
