As someone relatively new to hi-fi, this was my first purchase as I built a small system. I have it paired with a WiiM Mini, a set of Triangle BR03s, and a subwoofer, and I could not be happier with the sound.
But honestly, the sound isn’t the main reason I would recommend this amp to anyone looking to start their journey into hi-fi; it’s how incredibly flexible it is. I’ll do my best to explain…
The thing about hi-fi is that once you get a taste, you just keep wanting more (or at least I do). For me, the next purchase after the WiiM Mini was a DAC/Streamer that allowed me to control the entire system from my phone. The beauty of this amp is that I ran my DAC in using RCA cables, a 12v trigger, and then set it to Pre-Power mode. And voila, I have a system that is fully controlled by my phone.
I honestly think just about every other Class AB amp out there is either overpriced or under-equipped when you stack it up against the 6000a. This thing is a dream and worth every penny.
