Audiolab Omnia Stereo Integrated Amplifier w Built-in CD player, DAC, Wi-Fi, & Bluetoo

This is a beautiful amplifier with great functionality and easy operation. Love the digital VU meters. Strangely it does not have tone adjustments which would be my only knock against this product.

I watched and read everything about Audiolab before buying this. I have a lot of CDs that I have not listened to in years and the CD transport sounds great. I stream Amazon. I do love that it is an integrated amplifier but can also be used as a preamp and a power amp. That is rare as most integrated amplifiers are only that. I have noticed that my best speakers do sound better; the sound is outstanding as I expected it would be based on the reviews of the previous Audiolab products that they bundled into the Omnia. I have one complaint and that is the Play-Fi app that it uses to stream music. It really is bad but it is not made by Audiolab. I have hooked the Omnia up to the latest Bluesound node and the Bluesound has no problems streaming, wirelessly, while Play-Fi has problems when wired! It does stream hapless however. The app may get better. You can also get HTMI via the Bluesound as the Omnia does not have a HDMI input. Overall I think you get a lot for your money with the Omnia and it allows for you to grow a system around it given that it can act as a preamplifier.
