I cannot say enough good things about this projector. I replaced a 9-year-old Optoma UHD60 (running 4K60Hz) with a gradually dimming bulb and serious left-right brightness fading.
This projector was a drop-in -- or should I say drop-up -- replacement. Just AC power, 8K HDMI, and wired ethernet for control.
My concern was would it be bright enough, and it has exceeded my expectations as well as my requirements. The default image settings (like Dynamic, Natural and Cinema) are already well tuned to my needs. I actually have to drop the light power by 10% when using Dynamic and Natural as they are a little too bright in my living room. I am not viewing in a dark cinema-type room with absorbent walls. My living room is average with some soft ambient window light, and this projector neatly cuts through that with a low cost light grey manual screen.
My overall opinion is: fantastic projector. I'd buy one again with no hesitation.
