Onkyo TX-NR808 7.2-Channel 3-D Ready Network A/V Receiver

Solid receiver. Tons of features and rich sound, THX sounds awesome when watching Star Wars :-P

OK, so I don't know where to start with this receiver. First, it is a monster. It's big, and heavy. A good first indication about the sound. When I hooked it up, I was please to see it fits perfectly my banana plugs.
Setup was a breeze. The setup is very intuitive, much more than Pioneer. Also, most of the setup is onscreen, it doesn't need to go to another screen which is time consuming. I'm very please. Now, the sound!
Very warm sound, and the bass from my front kicks now! It punch. I moved from a previous 2005 Onkyo TX-SR702, 100 Watts/channel. I can definitely hear the difference. Now, my smaller surround speakers sounds better, and I feel the sound is more balanced between my big front speakers and the rears.
Full of connectivity, build quality is good, the remote is simple but yet does everything you expect from it. All in all, a very good receiver at a price competition has a hard time to match.
Go ahead, pick this one, you will like it i'm sure.

Ho, and I read reviews where users could hear a big "click" sound switching between inputs. My experience is there is no "click" sound at all. I don't know if Onkyo has already got rid of this, but now I can't hear anything at ALL.
