Usefulness will depend on the layout of the TV back side, mounting holes vs. other parts. I found it useful in several configurations, now using it successfully to hold an older, thicker soundbar above a TV. needed some more washers and rubber grommets to get the spacing right but it is good. Only gave it 3 stars as it needs a little DIY touch in some cases but maybe deserves 4.
