Purchased the SVS SB-2000 subwoofer 2 months ago and all I can say is....Amazing!! The low frequencies are perfect and very impressive, without sounding "booming" or distorted. Extremely true to the true recordings of the music, whether rock, jazz, folk or classical. Definitely one of the best purchases $ for $ I have ever made for my home stereo system. This $1,000 sub compares easily to other $3K+ subs I have sampled in the past. The SVS SB-2000 came shipped in two boxes- one wrappingbthe other. The protective foam was amamazing. A really soft texture to the touch yet provided total protection.
After a couple days of testing and breaking in period this woofer is a stunner. It hits lows tgat the ear can't hear but ur body feels.

This Sub has been in service for five months, rock solid and for my size room perfect match. Room size 18 x 18. One suggestion play a track from Keb Mo, song title " I don`t know"' as a test .

Looks good, not too heavy so moving it around is easy. sound had great punch for my 2000ft^3 room. price is right. very right.

After a few days of breaking in, this subwoofer delivers stunning control of sounds. It is completely silent when it needs to be (almost made me question if the sub is adequate), and the next moment, It gives enough energy to shake my entire room. Great compliment to your new or existing home theatre system, or even a home hi-fi system. I am very happy with my purchase.
