They don't fall out and keep the sound of the gym's overpowering music out when running on the treadmill. Music is clear and bass is good (honestly I just think because they fit well).

I expected great things from these earbuds but I was very disappointed. All of the reviews I had read prior to purchase emphasized the Bass Response. I have yet to experience it. The only way these earbuds seem to create a deep bass sound is if you "force" them deep into your ears - after which they do sound great. However that is not the position they naturally come to rest and the normal sound is tinny and not much better than the earbuds I purchased for $6.99 at TJ Maxx by Skull Candy. Considering these JBL earbuds cost more like $130 I expected marvelous results. They are also rather large and stick out of your ears a long way - perhaps not important. Since first trying them out, I have not worn them again. Very disillusioned I must say.
