Arcam rPhono Phono Stage Pre-Amplifier

It's a well-designed, finely built piece of equipment, like any Arcam product I've ever come across. And the noise levels are so low, they're practically negligible for vinyl sound. The only gripe is that so far, it's made all my vinyls sound like perfect quality CD's. And it's not just because of the low noise levels I'm sure. Maybe, the problem is that I moved to the rPhono from a tube pre-amp (the old Pro-Ject Tube Box) which had practically none of the Arcam rPhono's advantages, but gave you the warmest , purest vinyl sound you'd ever heard. So the rPhono has given me a truck load of advantages and has a generally pleasant sounding reproduction, but it's taken away some of the vinyl warmth. I'm still running it in though. So, maybe it just needs more time.
