Audio-Technica VM740ML Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge

Just got this in for my Thornes TD 166 table. I am experiencing my records all over again! Detail & detail, smooth vocals too! I have had the Linn K9, Nagaoka MP 110 & 150 Cartridges nice, BUT this is it. You will not be disappointed!

Great clean sound. Not overly bright like some cartridges.

Fantastic cartridge with incredible tracking ability from start to finish. Once you experience a Microline stylus, you cannot go back to anything else! I have been using AT Microline styluses for almost 30 years! This cartridge is revealing of every detail without being harsh. Inner groove distortion is eliminated as well with a very clean overall sound quality. If groove tracing ability is your top concern, stick with a Microline tip. Electronics For Less Canada was quick with the special order and it arrived well packed. I will now buy all my Audio Technica cartridges and accessories from them. I highly recommended this cartridge!
