FiiO M7 Touch Screen Hi-Res Bluetooth 4.2 aptX/aptX-HD LDAC & DSD DAP BLACK

Good quality but i preferred my old Fiio X3 markIII .
First thing, I don't like so much touchscreen of new models.
Second bad point with the M7 i loose my balanced output.
I would like to have chance in future models of FIIO.
Third, I would like that i can navigate in the lists directly from A to Z without doing A, B, C ... X, Y, Z but A, Z, Y, X ... In short, the list makes a loop .

Fiio M7 has so much problem connecting to bluetooth devices, i was able to only pair with 1 old speaker even after the firmware update. I do not recommend this product, sorry.

After decades of replying on a certain fruit-brand whose product stopped working out of nowhere, I decided to give Hi-Res a try. The Fiio M7 is a gorgeous piece of kit, especially in black. I find the usability of the software to be good with nice clear menus. The screen is a little small at times, but its a very minor drawback. Uploading a library from fruit-tunes was surprisingly simple with the aide of a quick online search. Not all tracks came across first time round, but with minimal effort I will have my full existing 60GB library set up. While those tracks will not get the full Hi-Res benefits, I didnt want to lose all the music I had.

I cannot comment on the full Hi-Res experience yet, but listening to my existing library on the M7 with a pair of B&O headphones I'm impressed with the clarity of sound.

In terms of memory - I've added a 512GB micro SD card so have so much space i don't know how to fill it!

The only reason it isnt 5-star is that the instructions for uploading a library were not clear and it is fiddly to get set up the first time.

Don't be afraid to let go of your fruit-pods - there are other options out there. And for the price, the Fiio M7 is worth every cent.

Solid unit, small footprint, reliable for what I needed it for. I was looking for a DAP to use with a bluetooth speaker with my treadmill. I know I could use my phone but preferred a dedicated unit to store playlists for exercising. Once I downloaded the latest firmware it worked like a charm. The order process was easy, delivery was relatively quick. Great value.

So for I have only used it with adptX, and a Sennheiser Momentum Free, but I eagerly await a pair of wired phones. The build quality is excellent, and easy to use. I somehow think that the dac and amp will be better in the Fiio, than in the headphones. Hence the last star wasn’t checked off, because I haven’t tried those parts yet. Very happy with my purchase.

Great product, I was looking for a High Res portable player and this device caught my eye. A suggestion if your looking to purchase, call the store I got great service over the phone.
