These speakers play the ATMOS demo files very well. It is important that they be positioned properly. The default up firing angle is only good if you are sitting 6 feet away given a normal flat 7 to 8 foot ceiling. Configuration is easy. Wait till the room is dark then aim the speakers at the captain's chair and put something under the back of the speaker to tilt it forward. Tape or hold a narrow beam flashlight to the top of the speaker, aimed in the direction of the speaker output and raise the back of the speaker (tilt forward) until the flashlight beam reflection on the ceiling is half way to the captain's chair. They can also be used as height (ATMOS) speakers in which case you want to mount them on an adjustable bracket near the ceiling and aimed at the captain's chair.
