OK, I know many will not believe this but here goes: I never would have believed that a speaker stand could actually improve the sound of my speakers. I bought these because I recently gave my pair of cheap wooden stands to my sister. I didn't expect these to be as heavy and well built as they are. AND, they make my speakers sound better. Not only was the height right but these things are solid! The speakers, which are already great for sound stage have a more solid presence. It's as though they are sitting on concrete. These are not Kanto speakers. They are vintage Infinity speakers that (re-furbed RS10s), for their age sound spectacular. I am really impressed by these stands and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve speaker placement and sound quality.
