Performance:

The specs seem pretty good on paper but I wasn't expecting anything out of this world.
That was a mistake on my part.

Once I got it set up and dialed in I was and still am completely blown away with this thing.
Put on some trap "music" and this thing will rattle your house and eyeballs!
With movies it is completely silent until a big bang and you will know it's power.

Anyways if you're on the fence just buy it.
I don't think any other sub in its price range can touch the pb 1000.

That being said I will be ordering another one in a few months to get to the next level.

Bang for the buck, and for the amount of space this takes up ... this is an amazing speaker. I had been used to either subs that came with sound bars, and then big box subs _ $500. I was concerned about paying this much for a sub that didn't have a 12' driver, but after 5 mins that was gone. If anything, it makes you wonder "if I spend a bit more money and get the PB-2000 ...", LOL. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is based on my room size (16 x 12 x 7.5 h). Ultimately I did end up trading this in for a PC-2000, but that is only because after hearing what SVS could do with this I became "bit by the bug" and wanted more. I should note, having a pair of these probably could've quenched my thirst for louder, but now I wanted lower Hz. Enough about the sound ... the build quality is excellent, truly. The packaging is excellent. I also have to add, dealing with EFLC is a pleasure.
