aosu H2E aosuCortex Edge AI Home Security Hub with Facial Recognition and 32GB Local Storage WHITE

The aosu H2E aosuCortex is an intelligent home security hub designed to connect compatible aosu cameras into a coordinated, locally managed surveillance system. Featuring advanced Edge AI processing, facial recognition, enhanced person re-identification and cross-camera event tracking, aosuCortex adds greater intelligence and convenience to supported multi-camera installations.

By processing supported security information locally, aosuCortex helps reduce reliance on cloud-based artificial intelligence while keeping compatible recordings and event information within the home. Users can identify familiar people, follow movement between camera locations and review important activity through the aosu mobile app.

The hub includes 32GB of built-in local storage with expansion support up to 16TB, providing a flexible solution for growing security systems. Designed for indoor installation, aosuCortex supports up to eight compatible aosu devices and serves as a central platform for unified monitoring, local video management and intelligent security alerts.

Advanced Edge AI Processing

aosuCortex uses Edge AI technology to analyze supported security events locally rather than relying entirely on cloud-based processing.

Its integrated intelligence enables facial recognition, person re-identification and coordinated event tracking across compatible camera installations.

This local processing approach provides additional control over security data while supporting more informative alerts and efficient event review.

AI Facial Recognition

The H2E hub supports facial recognition designed to identify familiar individuals detected by compatible aosu security cameras.

Using the aosu app, users can label family members, friends and other familiar people, helping the system provide more meaningful information about who has been detected.

Facial recognition can make it easier to distinguish familiar visitors from unknown individuals during routine monitoring.

Enhanced Person Re-Identification

aosuCortex supports enhanced person re-identification technology that helps associate observations of the same individual across compatible camera views.

This capability uses additional visual characteristics to recognize previously observed individuals, even when clothing or appearance changes.

It provides useful context when reviewing activity that occurs over longer periods or across multiple monitored locations.

Cross-Camera Event Tracking

When an individual moves between areas monitored by different compatible cameras, aosuCortex can connect related recordings into a more continuous activity timeline.

Rather than requiring users to review every camera independently, cross-camera tracking makes it easier to follow movement around the property.

This feature is especially valuable for homes with cameras installed at several entrances, driveways, garages or outdoor areas.

32GB Built-In Local Storage

The H2E includes 32GB of built-in storage for supported local security recordings.

Centralized storage helps keep footage from compatible cameras organized within the home without requiring a mandatory cloud recording subscription for included local recording functionality.

Actual video retention depends on camera quantity, recording activity, video resolution and selected recording settings.

Expandable Storage up to 16TB

For installations requiring additional recording capacity, aosuCortex supports compatible local storage expansion up to 16TB as specified for Gentec's 2026 Q4 assortment.

This allows users to plan for longer recording retention and additional supported cameras as their security systems grow.

Compatible expansion storage hardware is sold separately.

Centralized Management for Up to Eight Devices

The H2E can manage up to eight compatible aosu devices, providing flexibility for larger residential installations.

Supported cameras can work together through a common security platform, simplifying monitoring, notifications and video management.

Device compatibility depends on the camera model and software support, so compatibility should be confirmed before adding existing or additional aosu cameras.

Unified Security Notifications

aosuCortex combines supported AI detection events into centralized notifications delivered through the aosu app.

These notifications can provide additional context about detected individuals and activity, helping users focus on relevant events.

Designed for Indoor Installation

The H2E is an indoor security hub intended to operate as the central processing and storage component of a compatible aosu camera system.

Its dedicated enclosure includes connections for power, network integration and compatible storage expansion, allowing it to be positioned near suitable home networking equipment.

Part of the aosu Whole-Home Security Ecosystem

aosuCortex is designed to work with supported aosu security devices, including compatible SolarCam systems.

Its combination of local storage, Edge AI, facial recognition and cross-camera tracking provides a central foundation for an expandable home security installation.

The H2E is a security hub rather than a standalone surveillance camera. Compatible cameras are required to provide video monitoring.
