Audio-Technica AT-LP8X Semi-Automatic Direct-Drive Turntable
The Audio-Technica AT-LP8X is a semi-automatic, direct-drive turntable designed for serious vinyl listeners who want classic engineering with modern refinement. It features a newly designed tonearm lift that automatically raises the tonearm at the end of a record side and stops the motor, preserving both stylus and records while maintaining manual playback control.
Inspired by classic Audio-Technica designs from the 1960s and ’70s, the J-shaped aluminum tonearm delivers excellent tracking accuracy and low distortion. The AT-LP8X comes equipped with the AT-VM95E BK cartridge mounted on a newly designed AT-LT10 headshell and supports a wide range of cartridge upgrades thanks to adjustable VTA and an included subcounterweight.
