Sonos by Sonance INCL8WW1 8" In-Ceiling Architectural Speakers (Pair) WHITE

The Sonos by Sonance INCL8WW1 8-inch In-Ceiling Architectural Speakers deliver powerful, detailed and natural sound from a discreet ceiling installation. Designed and tuned in collaboration with Sonance, these passive speakers combine an 8-inch polypropylene woofer, a 1.2-inch soft-dome tweeter and advanced acoustic engineering to provide rich bass, clear vocals and broad, consistent sound coverage throughout the room.

Optimized for use with the Sonos Amp, the INCL8WW1 speakers support specialized Sonos digital signal processing and Trueplay room calibration. When connected to a compatible Sonos Amp, the system can automatically optimize speaker performance according to the room's acoustic characteristics, delivering improved tonal balance and low-frequency extension.

Each speaker features a paintable magnetic grille, a low-profile architectural design and the Sonance Roto-Lock mounting system for secure installation. Supplied as a pair in a matte White finish, these speakers are ideal for living rooms, kitchens, home theatres and whole-home audio installations where high-quality sound is desired without visible freestanding loudspeakers.

Premium Two-Way Acoustic Design

Each INCL8WW1 speaker incorporates a high-performance 203 mm (8") polypropylene woofer with a rubber surround and a 30 mm (1.2") soft-dome tweeter. This two-way driver configuration delivers powerful low-frequency reproduction, detailed midrange performance and smooth, extended treble.

The larger 8-inch woofer provides greater bass extension than smaller conventional architectural speakers, making the INCL8WW1 suitable for full-range music playback and home entertainment applications.

Optimized for Sonos Amp

The INCL8WW1 speakers are specifically engineered to work with the Sonos Amp. When Sonos Architectural speakers are identified through the Sonos app, Amp applies custom digital signal processing to optimize their acoustic response and protect the speakers during operation.

This optimized configuration extends the specified frequency response to 29 Hz - 20 kHz (±3 dB), providing deeper bass and a more balanced listening experience. Each Sonos Amp can power up to three pairs of compatible Sonos Architectural speakers when connected according to Sonos installation requirements.

Trueplay Room Calibration

When powered by a Sonos Amp, the INCL8WW1 speakers support Sonos Trueplay room tuning. Using a compatible iOS device, Trueplay analyzes the listening environment and adjusts the system's acoustic response to compensate for room reflections, furnishings and speaker placement.

This intelligent calibration helps deliver a natural, consistent listening experience tailored to the individual room rather than relying solely on fixed speaker settings.

Wide and Consistent Sound Coverage

The INCL8WW1 features a nominal 100-degree axisymmetric coverage angle, helping distribute sound across a broad listening area. This wide dispersion makes the speakers particularly suitable for open-concept living spaces, kitchens, entertainment rooms and multi-purpose areas.

With a specified maximum output of up to 113 dB SPL at one metre when used with optimized Sonos processing, the speakers offer substantial dynamic capability while maintaining a discreet architectural appearance.

Discreet Ceiling Integration

The INCL8WW1 is designed to blend into its surroundings. Each speaker features a paintable magnetic round grille that can be finished to match the ceiling, creating a clean, nearly invisible installation.

The Sonance Roto-Lock mounting system simplifies installation by securely fastening the speaker into a properly prepared ceiling opening. With an overall diameter of 283.5 mm (11.16") and a mounting depth of 135 mm (5.32"), the speakers are designed for permanent recessed installation in compatible ceiling structures.

Flexible Whole-Home Audio Applications

The INCL8WW1 speakers can be used in stereo music systems, distributed audio installations and compatible home theatre configurations. When powered by Sonos Amp, they become part of the Sonos ecosystem, supporting wireless music streaming, app-based control and synchronized playback with other compatible Sonos products.

Because these are passive speakers, they require an external amplifier and speaker wiring. Sonos Amp is recommended to access the system's optimized acoustic tuning and Trueplay capabilities.
