The second-generation Kanto Living YU6 Passive bookshelf speakers deliver powerful, room-filling sound while giving you the freedom to choose your own amplifier or receiver. Designed strictly as a passive speaker system with no internal amplification or power supply, the YU6 Passive integrates easily into a traditional two-channel stereo system, desktop audio setup, or home theater.
Re-engineered drivers provide greater clarity, a balanced sound signature, and authoritative depth. A 1-inch silk dome tweeter delivers smooth, detailed highs, while the 5.25-inch Abaca-reinforced paper cone woofer produces a natural, full-bodied midrange and bass response extending down to 55 Hz.
Each speaker handles 65 W RMS and 100 W peak power for a combined 130 W RMS / 200 W peak per pair into a nominal 4-ohm load. Rigid MDF cabinets help reduce unwanted resonance, while silicone dispersion rings around the drivers help minimize acoustic edge diffraction.
Premium 4-way knurled binding posts provide a secure connection to your amplifier or receiver. Integrated 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes on the bottom of each cabinet also provide flexible installation with compatible speaker stands.
