The Pro-Ject Phono Box DS3 B is a high-performance phono preamplifier designed for serious vinyl systems that demand flexibility, low noise, and precise cartridge matching. Built in a rigid steel and aluminum enclosure, it supports both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges while offering balanced and single-ended connectivity for advanced system integration.
Its fully discrete, dual-mono design avoids op-amps in favour of carefully engineered individual components for enhanced channel separation, natural tonal balance, and excellent dynamic expression. With front-panel control over loading, gain, and input selection, the Phono Box DS3 B is equally suited to fine-tuning demanding MC cartridges and building a versatile analog front end around multiple turntables.
