Great sound in a small relatively light package. I've had the JVC classic boom box for years and years, but this year I decided to upgrade. I am very happy with my decision! This piece sounds amazing! Clear, crisp sound and it is easy to bring around. Love the D-cell capability as I bring it camping over the weekends regularly. A rechargeable battery would run out for sue, but now I just need to change the batteries and we're good to go again! It has more power when plugged in to DC, but still sounds great on batteries! The ipod dock is less than satisfactory though. The angle it's on makes it impossible to see the player without walking right up to it and look from above.
