Great sound and look for the money especially the walnut finish.

These speakers are wicked. They are a great budget (relatively) to get into hifi stereo equipment. Truly though the other comparable option for "budget" hifi would be to buy an integrated amp and speakers and would cost about $1000 for a marginal step up in quality. They took about 25 hrs to really work in and now they are so buttery and smooth. They punch above their weight and I can hear these with a beautiful rich crispness rooms away from them. They provide a great full sound, not bright not muddy. Just a beautiful in-between that will leave you with a smile on your face and a great new appreciation for your favourite music!
