This stand is rigid, stable and free of flex. It's substantial, like a Transrotor turntable, and weighs in at 176 lbs. The shelves are better acoustically damped than expected, better than my previous wood stand. The maximum component width that fits between the extruded aluminum supports is, a hair over 19" across the front. Outer width of glass is 28". Depth from the front edge to the rear of glass is 23". Height is 31". I was very satisfied with the purchase of one of these last year from a different retailer and this is my second one of the same, this time from EFLC. I wish the manufacturer would offer an additional 5" or 6" shelf for purchase.
