This is a very nice subwoofer for an apartment. It is not wall-shaking and that is exactly what I was looking for. It is nicely tight for music: I am a jazz lover and I can assure you it leaves nothing to be desired matched with my Harman Kardon 3700 receiver. It delivers also the punch needed for movies, although I admit I never watch action movies, so explosions are not my thing.... Overall a very well designed product to deliver the goods with music in particular and likely more than satisfactory for movie-watching needs. If you need the walls shaken you might want to check at least the PSW-125 or even better the 505.
Excellent Sub!!! I got it with great rebate + free shipping via Electronic for less. Bass lines, Kick drum, movie's explosions, etc, anything that you trow at it will sound accurate. In terms of performance, I'm using at 30% volume and it's enough. 100 watts is enough for the casual user. The crossover works well too. The only cons is that if you use the RCA line In you can't use the spring plug Out. Well, It may be obvious for some, but I didn't know at the beginning since it is my first sub. I would recommend it. Especially in sale + free shipping!
