I bought these headphones based on multiple reviews off of Amazon and YouTube. I can say that the sound quality is very good, vocal and instrument separation is excellent. What I found problematic was the volume. For whatever reason, you have to turn it up to a level that registers in the red zone on my phone in order to hear the music at the level I'm used to with other headphones. To clarify, in order to have the same volume as an older set of Sony headphones I have, the volume has to be turned up 20-30% higher. Since discovering this, I have found many others encountering the same issue. Additionally, while the noise cancellation is pretty good, the reviews indicate the Sony WH-1000xm5 is superior. At the time of purchase, I was uncertain which to buy and went with the Momentum 4. That said, if I had known about the volume issue and the reduced NC, in retrospect I probably should have gone with the Sony WH-1000xm5. Still happy with them, but would swap if I could.
