Mobifoto MOBIRL12R 12" RGB & Bi-Colour LED Ring Light Vlogging Kit with Stand

The Mobifoto MOBIRL12R is a versatile 12-inch (30.5 cm) RGB and bi-colour LED ring light kit designed for vlogging, livestreaming, photography, video conferencing and digital content creation. Featuring 144 LEDs, adjustable brightness, variable colour temperature and RGB colour effects, it provides flexible lighting for everything from natural-looking portraits to creative video productions.

Unlike a conventional white-only ring light, the MOBIRL12R combines 96 regular LEDs with 48 RGB LEDs, allowing users to choose between white illumination and colourful lighting effects. Adjustable colour temperature, a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) greater than 80 and wireless remote control provide convenient options for controlling the appearance and intensity of the light.

The complete kit includes a lightweight four-section reverse-folding stand, smartphone mounting support and a ballistic fabric carrying bag. USB-powered operation makes the MOBIRL12R suitable for home studios, mobile content creators, online meetings and creative lighting setups without requiring a dedicated studio lighting installation.

144-LED RGB and Bi-Colour Lighting System

The MOBIRL12R features 144 LEDs arranged in a 12-inch circular lighting configuration. Its lighting system combines 96 regular LEDs for white illumination with 48 RGB LEDs for creative colour effects.

The circular design distributes light around the camera position, helping reduce harsh facial shadows and produce more balanced illumination during close-up recording.

Users can select natural white lighting for interviews, video calls and photography or experiment with RGB colours to create distinctive backgrounds, accents and lighting effects.

RGB Colour Lighting

The integrated RGB LEDs allow the MOBIRL12R to produce coloured lighting for creative video and photography applications.

RGB lighting can be used to establish different visual moods, add colour to subjects or create more distinctive lighting for livestreams, social media content and product demonstrations.

This makes the MOBIRL12R particularly useful for content creators who want more flexibility than a conventional bi-colour LED ring light provides.

Adjustable White Colour Temperature

In addition to its RGB functionality, the MOBIRL12R supports adjustable white colour temperature for adapting the light to different environments.

Warmer white settings provide softer-looking illumination, while cooler settings are useful for daylight-balanced photography, video conferencing and studio-style recording.

Colour temperature adjustments help users better coordinate the ring light with the available ambient lighting.

Dimmable Lighting Control

Adjustable brightness allows the MOBIRL12R to accommodate different recording distances, subject positions and ambient lighting conditions.

Lower brightness settings are useful for close-up videos and subtle illumination, while higher settings provide additional light for darker recording environments.

Colour Rendering Index Greater Than 80

The MOBIRL12R features a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) greater than 80, supporting balanced colour reproduction during photography and video recording.

This helps produce natural-looking skin tones and subject colours when the ring light is used in its white-light modes.

Wireless Remote Control

The MOBIRL12R includes a wireless remote designed to provide convenient control of supported lighting functions.

Remote operation allows users to make lighting adjustments without repeatedly reaching for the light itself, which is particularly useful during solo filming, livestreaming and photography sessions.

The remote provides access to supported lighting modes and adjustments, including RGB-related functions.

Flexible Smartphone Mounting

The kit is designed for use with compatible smartphones, allowing mobile devices to be positioned near the centre of the ring light for balanced front-facing illumination.

This arrangement is particularly useful for video blogging, beauty tutorials, livestreaming and social media content where the subject faces the camera directly.

Compatible mounting accessories allow users to position a smartphone for different recording requirements.

Adjustable Lighting Direction

The ring light can be angled to suit different subjects and recording arrangements, allowing illumination to be directed toward the desired area.

Directional adjustment is useful when moving between seated presentations, portrait photography, desktop product demonstrations and other filming setups.

Four-Section Reverse-Folding Stand

The included lightweight stand features a four-section reverse-folding design for convenient transport and storage.

The stand extends to a maximum height of approximately 1.7 m (67 inches), accommodating standing presentations and a variety of camera and lighting positions.

When folded, the stand measures approximately 48 cm (19 inches), making it easier to transport in the supplied carrying bag.

Constructed from aluminium and plastic, the stand weighs approximately 0.23 kg (0.5 lb), providing a portable solution for content creators working in different locations.

USB-Powered Operation

The MOBIRL12R uses USB power for convenient operation with an appropriate compatible power source.

USB connectivity makes the light suitable for portable recording arrangements and locations where a conventional studio lighting power supply may be inconvenient.

Portable Carrying Bag

The included ballistic fabric carrying bag is designed to accommodate the ring light and its supplied accessories.

Shoulder and hand-carry straps provide convenient transportation between home studios, offices, shooting locations and other workspaces.

Designed for Vlogging, Livestreaming and Creative Content

The MOBIRL12R combines practical white lighting with creative RGB effects, making it suitable for a wide variety of photography and video applications.

Typical uses include video blogging, livestreaming, webcasting, online meetings, beauty tutorials, product photography, portrait photography and social media production.

Its compact design, adjustable lighting and portable stand provide flexibility for users who need a convenient lighting system that can be set up and transported easily.
