The VRDS-701 CD Transport features a newly-developed VRDS mechanism paired with a TEAC original discrete DAC, delivering exceptional audio performance.

TEAC Original VRDS Mechanism

The VRDS is a proprietary CD drive mechanism from TEAC that minimizes rotational and other unwanted vibrations. It achieves this by clamping the CD onto an aluminum turntable of the same diameter, maximizing inertial mass and ensuring high precision in CD playback.
