The Audio-Technica AT-VM740xML is a premium Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge engineered to deliver an expansive, highly detailed soundstage with exceptional accuracy. Part of the AT-VMx series, it closely mirrors the geometry of professional cutter heads used to create vinyl masters, ensuring outstanding tracking precision, channel separation, and musical realism.
Equipped with a nude Microlinear stylus, the AT-VM740xML traces record grooves with remarkable accuracy, extracting fine musical detail while reducing distortion and record wear compared to elliptical or conical designs. Premium PCUHD copper coils, a highly efficient paratoroidal generator, and a die-cast aluminum body work together to deliver fast transient response, clean stereo imaging, and stable, low-resonance performance.
