The Audio-Technica AT-VM745xML is a high-performance Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge designed to deliver exceptional realism, precision, and musical detail from vinyl records. Part of the AT-VMx series, it closely mirrors the geometry of professional cutter heads used to create vinyl masters, ensuring accurate groove tracking, wide soundstage, and excellent channel separation.

This model features a lightweight nude Microlinear stylus capable of tracing record grooves with extreme accuracy, extracting subtle detail that elliptical and conical styli cannot resolve. A solid boron cantilever transmits vibrations significantly faster than aluminum, improving transient response and clarity, especially on dynamic musical passages. The die-cast aluminum body further enhances performance by minimizing resonance and unwanted coloration.
