Luxsin X8 Intelligent DAC & Headphone Amplifier
The Luxsin X8 is a high-performance desktop DAC and headphone amplifier built around eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips in a true dual-mono parallel architecture. Four DACs operate in parallel for each channel, with independent left and right power, circuit layout and signal paths designed to reduce crosstalk and interference.
A customized DigitalAudio Core combines dual-core HiFi-5 DSP processing with ARM architecture for real-time audio processing and advanced tuning. Luxsin's AI-assisted EQ allows sound profiles and individual parameters to be adjusted using voice or text commands, while control is available through the touchscreen, mobile app and web interface.
The headphone amplifier uses multiple OPA1612 op-amps and TPA6120A2 high-current drivers, delivering up to 4840 mW per channel through the balanced 4.4 mm and XLR4 outputs. Automatic impedance detection works across the XLR4, 4.4 mm and 6.35 mm headphone outputs and can automatically select an appropriate gain setting.
A 4-inch full-colour touchscreen, CNC-machined aluminum chassis, adjustable linear power supply, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a comprehensive selection of digital inputs make the X8 suitable as both a dedicated headphone listening system and a DAC for a larger audio system.
