The Klipsch THX-5002-S is a THX Ultra Certified 2-way in-ceiling speaker designed for high-performance home theatre and multi-channel music systems. It is capable of playing up to reference levels in rooms of 3,000 cubic feet or larger while maintaining a discreet in-ceiling installation.
Two 5.25" Cerametallic woofers operate in an enclosed tuned-port chamber to provide consistent bass response regardless of the installation or ceiling air space. The speaker also uses two vertically stacked 1" titanium tweeters with Tractrix horn loading for precise imaging and localized sound.
Klipsch Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) creates an enveloping sound field while providing greater placement flexibility than conventional speaker designs. The THX-5002-S is timbre matched with Klipsch THX-certified products, allowing it to integrate into discreet stereo and home theatre systems.
An edge-to-edge paintable grille covers the entire speaker for a clean, flush appearance. Premium neodymium magnets allow the grille to be easily installed and removed while maintaining a secure fit.
