Fosi Audio S3 Lite HiFi Music Streamer with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 BLACK

The Fosi Audio S3 Lite is a high-resolution network music streamer designed to bring modern wireless streaming capabilities to traditional and contemporary HiFi systems. Operating as a pure digital audio transport, it delivers high-quality digital audio to an external DAC through USB, optical or coaxial connections, allowing listeners to enjoy their favourite streaming services without replacing their existing amplifier or audio components.

Featuring dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and wired Ethernet connectivity, the S3 Lite supports a broad range of streaming platforms and protocols, including Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and DLNA. Its USB audio output supports high-resolution PCM playback up to 32-bit/768 kHz under supported conditions, making it a versatile digital source for high-performance audio systems.

The compact black chassis integrates easily into desktop and home audio installations. With dedicated app control, a 10-band equalizer, multi-room playback support, Bluetooth remote control and a 12V trigger output, the S3 Lite combines modern streaming convenience with the flexibility required for dedicated HiFi systems.

Pure Digital Streaming Transport

The S3 Lite is engineered specifically as a digital audio transport, allowing the connected external DAC to handle digital-to-analog conversion. Unlike streamers with built-in analog output stages, the S3 Lite focuses on delivering a clean digital signal to compatible downstream equipment.

USB-A, optical Toslink and coaxial S/PDIF outputs provide flexible connectivity to a wide range of external DACs, integrated amplifiers and audio processors equipped with compatible digital inputs.

Important: The S3 Lite does not contain an internal DAC or provide analog RCA audio outputs. A compatible external DAC or an amplifier with a built-in DAC is required for audio playback.

High-Resolution Digital Audio

The S3 Lite supports PCM playback up to 32-bit/768 kHz through its USB digital audio output when connected through a compatible wired network and external DAC. USB output over Wi-Fi supports up to 32-bit/384 kHz, while optical and coaxial outputs support PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

Its digital transport architecture is designed to maintain high signal accuracy, with a manufacturer-specified digital output THD+N as low as 0.000003% under supported conditions.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Connectivity

Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi 6 supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networks, helping provide stable streaming performance throughout a home.

For installations where a wired connection is preferred, the S3 Lite also includes a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port for direct network connectivity.

Bluetooth 5.3 Wireless Streaming

Bluetooth 5.3 provides a convenient way to stream audio wirelessly from compatible smartphones, tablets and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Support for SBC and AAC Bluetooth audio codecs offers broad device compatibility for everyday listening.

Popular Streaming Services and Platforms

The S3 Lite integrates with popular music services and streaming technologies, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast and DLNA.

These options allow users to select music from compatible mobile applications and network-connected devices while using the S3 Lite as the dedicated digital playback transport.

Roon compatibility is also supported, with formal Roon Ready certification identified by the manufacturer as in progress.

Multi-Room Audio Playback

Using Apple AirPlay 2 or Google Cast, the S3 Lite can participate in compatible multi-room audio systems, allowing synchronized music playback across supported devices in different rooms.

Multiple S3 Lite or compatible S3 streamers can be installed throughout a home to provide convenient streaming access to separate audio systems.

Fosi Audio App Control

The Fosi Audio mobile app provides an intuitive interface for network setup, playback control, output selection and audio adjustments.

Its integrated 10-band equalizer allows users to tailor the frequency response to their listening preferences, system configuration and room characteristics.

Bluetooth Remote Control

An included Bluetooth remote provides convenient access to playback, power and output selection without requiring a smartphone for every adjustment.

The remote supports operation at distances of up to approximately 15 metres (49 feet) under suitable conditions.

12V Trigger for System Integration

A built-in 12V trigger output allows the S3 Lite to coordinate power operation with compatible downstream components, helping simplify everyday use in an integrated HiFi system.

Compact HiFi Design

Measuring approximately 147 x 146.5 x 32.5 mm (5.79 x 5.77 x 1.28 inches), the S3 Lite is designed to fit comfortably on a desk, shelf or within a compact audio equipment rack.

Its understated black finish and minimalist styling complement a wide range of modern and traditional HiFi components.
