Kanto Living TUK Passive 2nd Gen brings the advanced engineering of Kanto's signature acoustic platform to listeners who prefer the freedom of external amplification. Sold as a pair, these passive bookshelf speakers combine refined acoustics, solid MDF construction and straightforward integration into high-fidelity stereo and home theater systems.

Each speaker features an ultra-responsive 28 x 35 mm Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter for detailed, smooth high frequencies with excellent dispersion. A precision-engineered 5.25-inch aluminum concave cone woofer works with the redesigned, larger rear-ported cabinet to deliver tight, controlled bass extending down to 50 Hz.

TUK Passive is designed without internal amplification, allowing you to pair the speakers with your choice of integrated amplifier or receiver. Each speaker handles 65 W RMS and 130 W peak power into a nominal 4-ohm load, providing ample output while maintaining a balanced, neutral presentation.

The acoustic-grade MDF cabinets provide a stable foundation and help reduce unwanted resonance. Updated cabinet geometry uses sharper, more defined edges to reduce edge diffraction, while premium 4-way binding posts provide secure speaker connections. A 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole on the bottom of each speaker allows secure installation on compatible speaker stands.
