8-Inch Widescreen TFT LCD Display

The RJ-816DPF features an 8-inch (20.3 cm) TFT active-matrix LCD screen with a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 480 x 240 pixels.

The display provides a dedicated viewing surface for digital photographs, allowing family memories and personal photo collections to be enjoyed without using a computer monitor or television.

JPEG Photo Playback up to 8 Megapixels

The RJ-816DPF supports JPEG image files with resolutions up to 8 megapixels, making it compatible with photographs captured by many digital cameras.

Pictures can be viewed individually or displayed automatically as a slideshow, providing flexibility for personal photo collections.

Automatic Slideshows with Transition Effects

The built-in slideshow function automatically displays photographs stored on a compatible memory card, USB flash drive or internal memory.

Multiple transition effects add visual variety between images, while adjustable display intervals allow users to control how long each photograph remains on screen.

Picture rotation is also supported, allowing portrait-oriented photographs to be viewed in the appropriate orientation.

AVI Video Playback

In addition to still photographs, the RJ-816DPF supports compatible AVI video files.

This allows users to enjoy short video clips and other supported multimedia content directly on the frame's LCD display.

Actual file compatibility depends on the video encoding used within the AVI container.

Music Playback and Background Audio

The RJ-816DPF supports compatible digital audio playback through its two integrated speakers.

Background music can accompany photo slideshows, creating a more engaging presentation of family photographs and special memories.

An earphone output is also provided for private listening using compatible headphones.

Multiple Memory Card Formats

The frame supports a range of removable memory card formats, including CompactFlash (CF), Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick (MS) and xD-Picture Card.

Supported memory card capacity is up to 2GB, allowing compatible photographs and multimedia files to be accessed directly from removable storage.

This provides a convenient way to display pictures stored on compatible digital camera memory cards without first transferring them to a computer.

Users can insert a compatible storage device and select photographs or multimedia content through the on-screen menu.

Built-In Flash Memory

Supported files can be transferred from a computer or compatible removable storage device, providing convenient access to selected photographs without requiring a memory card to remain inserted.

The available product information does not specify the internal flash memory capacity.

Audio and Video Output to Television

The RJ-816DPF includes audio and video output functionality for connection to a compatible television.

Using the appropriate AV cable, supported photographs and multimedia content can be displayed through an external television for a larger viewing experience.

These features are useful for bedroom, office and living room placement when photographs are not being displayed.

Convenient Remote Control

An included remote control allows users to navigate the on-screen interface, select media files and adjust supported playback settings without handling the frame directly.

The user-friendly on-screen display provides convenient access to slideshow settings, multimedia playback and additional functions.
