Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Plus 7.1.4 Virtual Surround Soundbar 400W

The Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Plus delivers a premium immersive home theater experience from a single, elegantly designed soundbar. Combining nine high-performance drivers, 400 watts RMS of Class D amplification and advanced AMBEO virtualization technology, it creates an expansive 7.1.4-channel virtual surround sound experience without requiring separate surround speakers.

Designed for movies, television, music and gaming, the AMBEO Soundbar Plus features seven 2-inch aluminum cone full-range drivers and two integrated 4-inch cellulose cone woofers. Automated room calibration, intelligent audio processing and extensive connectivity work together to deliver powerful, detailed sound tailored to your listening environment.

Immersive 7.1.4 Virtual Surround Sound

Powered by Sennheiser's advanced AMBEO virtualization technology, the Soundbar Plus creates the impression of a 7.1.4-channel home theater system from a single enclosure. Sophisticated audio processing produces a spacious three-dimensional sound field that extends beyond the physical dimensions of the soundbar.

Developed using technology from Fraunhofer IIS, AMBEO virtualization enhances the sense of height, depth and directionality in compatible immersive audio content. Stereo upmixing also expands conventional two-channel material into a more engaging, room-filling listening experience.

Nine High-Performance Drivers

The AMBEO Soundbar Plus features a nine-driver acoustic system consisting of seven 2-inch aluminum cone full-range drivers and two integrated 4-inch cellulose cone woofers.

The aluminum cone drivers reproduce dialogue, vocals and detailed musical information with clarity and precision, while the dual woofers deliver powerful low-frequency performance. Together, they provide a frequency response extending from 38Hz to 20kHz.

400 Watts of Class D Amplification

Nine dedicated Class D amplifiers deliver a combined 400 watts RMS of amplification power. This integrated amplifier architecture provides precise control over the soundbar's drivers, producing dynamic sound with excellent clarity for demanding movie soundtracks and music.

Built-In Dual 4-Inch Subwoofers

The AMBEO Soundbar Plus incorporates two 4-inch cellulose cone woofers directly into its enclosure, delivering substantial bass without requiring a separate subwoofer.

With low-frequency extension down to 38Hz, the integrated woofers add depth and impact to movie soundtracks, music and gaming while maintaining a clean, compact entertainment setup.

Automatic Room Calibration

Four built-in high-precision far-field microphones analyze the acoustic characteristics of the listening environment. The automated self-calibration system then adjusts the soundbar's audio performance to account for room dimensions, furnishings and acoustic reflections.

This intelligent calibration helps optimize the immersive sound experience without requiring complicated manual adjustments or external measurement equipment.

Voice Enhancement and Night Mode

Voice Enhancement improves dialogue intelligibility, helping speech remain clear during movies, television programs and other vocal-heavy content.

Night Mode provides a more discreet listening experience by managing audio dynamics for comfortable listening at reduced volume levels. The built-in microphones can also be disabled when desired.

Advanced Wireless Music Streaming

The AMBEO Soundbar Plus features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for convenient wireless entertainment. Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and compatible network streaming services provide extensive music playback options.

The AMBEO|OS platform integrates streaming, audio processing and system management into a streamlined entertainment experience. Support for TIDAL Connect with Dolby Atmos enables compatible immersive music playback.

Extensive HDMI and Audio Connectivity

The Soundbar Plus features two HDMI 2.0a inputs for connecting compatible external sources and one HDMI 2.1 eARC output for connection to a television.

Additional connections include optical digital audio input, stereo RCA analog input, RJ-45 Ethernet and a USB-A accessory power port. This flexibility allows the soundbar to integrate with televisions, streaming devices, gaming consoles, Blu-ray players and other entertainment equipment.

Expandable with AMBEO Sub

For additional low-frequency performance, the AMBEO Soundbar Plus supports wireless integration with compatible Sennheiser AMBEO Sub powered subwoofers.

Advanced multi-subwoofer technology allows up to four compatible AMBEO Sub units to operate wirelessly with individual calibration, helping deliver more consistent bass throughout larger listening spaces.

A dedicated mono RCA subwoofer pre-output also provides a wired connection option for compatible powered subwoofers.

Sennheiser Smart Control App

The Sennheiser Smart Control app provides convenient access to soundbar configuration, audio settings and sound customization. Users can manage compatible features and adjust their listening experience from a smartphone.

Elegant, Compact Home Theater Design

Measuring approximately 105.1cm wide, the AMBEO Soundbar Plus combines powerful audio performance with an understated design suitable for modern entertainment systems. Its integrated driver configuration provides immersive sound without requiring a room full of separate loudspeakers.
