PS Audio Aspen FR5 Bookshelf Loudspeakers SATIN WHITE
The PS Audio Aspen FR5 is a compact full-range two-way stand-mount loudspeaker designed for small to medium-sized listening rooms. As the smallest model in the Aspen series, it combines PS Audio's planar magnetic high-frequency technology with a custom low-frequency driver and passive radiator system.
A 2.5-inch planar magnetic tweeter with a Teonex diaphragm handles the high frequencies, while a 6.5-inch cast-frame woofer with a Curv woven polypropylene cone provides the low-frequency output. A rear-firing 6 x 9-inch oval passive radiator extends bass response without requiring a larger cabinet.
The FR5 uses a phase-correct Linkwitz-Riley sixth-order acoustic crossover at 1750 Hz. With a 6-ohm nominal impedance and recommended amplifier power of 50 to 150 watts, it is designed for use with a wide range of high-quality stereo amplifiers.
