PS Audio Aspen FR30 Floorstanding Loudspeakers PIANO BLACK
The PS Audio Aspen FR30 is the reference floorstanding loudspeaker in the Aspen series. Its three-way design combines proprietary planar magnetic high-frequency and midrange transducers with four high-excursion woofers and four side-firing passive radiators for full-range reproduction with powerful low-frequency extension.
The FR30 uses two 2.5-inch planar magnetic tweeters and a 10-inch planar magnetic midrange driver with ultra-light Teonex diaphragms and symmetrical push-pull neodymium motor systems. Four 8-inch high-excursion woofers provide the active low-frequency output, supported by four 10-inch side-firing passive radiators.
A proprietary Phase-Correct LR4 crossover operates at 400 Hz and 2500 Hz, while the dual-module cabinet separates the mid/high-frequency and bass sections to reduce unwanted resonance. Rear-panel Baffle Step and Tweeter Level adjustments allow the loudspeaker's response to be optimized for the listening room.
