Epson QB1000 4K HDR 3LCD Laser Projector 3,300 Lumens WHITE

The Epson QB1000 is a premium 4K home theater laser projector built around Epson's 3-chip 3LCD imaging system, advanced QZX Picture Processor and precision VRX Cinema Lens. With 3,300 lumens of colour and white brightness, sophisticated HDR processing and Epson UltraBlack technology, it is designed for high-performance dedicated theaters as well as rooms with some ambient light.

Epson's quad-phase dual-axis pixel-shifting system works with three high-definition LCD panels to display a 3840 x 2160 image with 8.29 million pixels. The 3LCD architecture continuously processes red, green and blue through separate imaging chips, providing full-time colour without the rainbow effect associated with sequential-colour single-chip projection systems.

A multi-array laser diode light source provides instant on/off operation and a rated lifespan of up to 20,000 hours. Epson UltraBlack technology uses a proprietary compensation filter to suppress stray light and improve black density, contributing to a Dynamic Contrast ratio of up to 5,000,000:1.

The 32-bit Epson QZX Picture Processor handles real-time colour, dynamic contrast, HDR, frame interpolation, dynamic tone mapping and resolution enhancement. Auto Dynamic Tone Mapping analyzes HDR content scene by scene to optimize brightness and preserve highlight and shadow detail.

HDR support includes HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG with full 10-bit HDR colour processing. Real-time HDR curve adjustment provides 16 levels of control for tailoring HDR reproduction to the content and viewing environment.

The Epson Cinema VRX Lens uses a 15-element precision glass structure for excellent image clarity and edge-to-edge focus. Powered 2.1x optical zoom, ±96% vertical lens shift and ±47% horizontal lens shift provide extensive installation flexibility, while up to 10 lens memory presets can store preferred zoom, focus and lens-position settings.

Dual HDMI 2.1 inputs provide up to 48Gbps bandwidth and support 4K video at up to 120Hz. Gaming features include Auto Low Latency Mode and input lag below 20 ms, allowing the QB1000 to take advantage of current-generation consoles and high-performance gaming PCs.

HDMI input 2 supports eARC for returning high-resolution audio to a compatible AV receiver or soundbar. Additional integration connections include Ethernet, RS-232C, USB and a 12V trigger output for compatible motorized projection screens.
