KEF T2 10" Slim Profile Powered Subwoofer 250W BLACK

The KEF T2 is a slim-profile powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, controlled and accurate bass without the bulk of a conventional subwoofer. Featuring a 250 mm (10") bass driver and a built-in 250-watt Class D amplifier, the T2 adds impact, definition and low-frequency extension to music and movie soundtracks while maintaining a discreet presence in your living space.

Part of KEF's T Series home theatre range, the T2 complements slim-profile satellite and centre channel speakers by reinforcing the lowest frequencies. Its closed-box acoustic design produces fast, articulate bass, helping create a convincing three-dimensional soundstage with greater depth, weight and realism.

Finished in Black, the T2 features a compact enclosure measuring just 177 mm (7") deep, making it easy to position alongside furniture or integrate into modern home entertainment installations. Despite its slender design, it delivers a maximum acoustic output of 110 dB SPL, providing substantial low-frequency performance for movies, television and music.

Powerful 250 mm (10") Bass Driver

At the heart of the T2 is a large 250 mm (10") low-frequency driver engineered to reproduce the deep bass frequencies that smaller satellite speakers cannot deliver independently. Its generous driver area allows it to move substantial volumes of air, producing convincing bass effects while preserving clarity and control.

With a specified frequency response of 30 Hz to 250 Hz, the T2 reinforces everything from the fundamental notes of bass instruments to the low-frequency effects found in cinematic soundtracks.

250-Watt Class D Amplification

The T2 incorporates a dedicated 250-watt Class D amplifier, providing the power required to drive its 10-inch woofer with authority and precision. The efficient amplifier design delivers responsive bass performance while allowing the electronics to fit within the subwoofer's shallow enclosure.

This integrated amplification eliminates the need for a separate power amplifier and makes the T2 easy to integrate into a compatible home theatre or stereo audio system.

Closed-Box Acoustic Design

The T2 uses a sealed, closed-box enclosure with an internal volume of 12.7 litres. This acoustic configuration helps maintain precise driver control, delivering fast, accurate bass response without relying on a conventional bass-reflex port.

The resulting low-frequency reproduction adds weight and dimension to movie effects and musical passages while maintaining the detail necessary for natural, balanced sound.

Slim Profile for Flexible Placement

Measuring 380 x 370 x 177 mm (15.0 x 14.6 x 7.0"), the T2 combines substantial bass capability with a space-saving cabinet design. Its shallow depth makes it particularly well suited to modern entertainment spaces where conventional large subwoofers may be difficult to accommodate.

The understated Black finish complements KEF T Series speakers and contemporary flat-panel television installations, allowing the subwoofer to integrate discreetly into the room.

Designed for KEF T Series Home Theatre Systems

The T2 is designed to work alongside KEF's T Series satellite and centre channel loudspeakers, adding the low-frequency foundation needed for a complete home theatre experience.

Its powerful bass output enhances cinematic impact while giving music greater depth and body. The low-level RCA input provides straightforward integration with compatible AV receivers, surround sound processors and amplifiers equipped with a subwoofer output.
