For lower-resolution 480p applications, the manufacturer specifies transmission distances up to 60 metres (196 feet) over Cat6 cable.

This extended range provides flexibility when connecting audiovisual equipment located in another part of a room or at a remote installation position.

HDMI over Cat5e/Cat6 Cabling

Rather than relying on a single long HDMI cable, the extender uses two separate Cat5e or Cat6 cable runs to connect its transmitter and receiver modules.

The Manhattan 177276 is intended for legacy and Full HD systems. It does not support modern 4K or 8K HDMI video transmission.

For best results, Manhattan recommends shielded network cables and HDMI connection cables no longer than approximately 2 metres (6 feet) between the extender modules and connected equipment.
