The Klipsch Forte IV is a high-efficiency three-way Heritage Series loudspeaker built around a 12" woofer, horn-loaded midrange and horn-loaded tweeter. First introduced in 1985, the Forte has remained one of Klipsch's most recognizable designs, and the Forte IV updates the platform with revised acoustic engineering while preserving the character of the original.

The Forte IV uses an all-new K-702 midrange compression driver with a polyimide diaphragm, mated to a modified Tractrix horn with Klipsch Mumps technology for more consistent midrange dispersion across the listening area. A titanium-diaphragm high-frequency compression driver uses a wide-dispersion phase plug for a broader, more accurate listening sweet spot, while a rear-mounted 15" passive radiator extends low-frequency performance.
